Two very scarce early works by Josef Herman RA- “Awaiting the Outcome” pen & wash c1946 (an early Welsh Study) and “Boy at table with Oil lamp” another 1940s work most probably predating Wales and dating from the Glasgow Period. I have also listed an impressive Thomas Hennell “Wagon Horse with Harness” pen & ink- this is the actual drawing that became the illustration on page 82 of H J Massingham’s “Country Relics” 1939, this is in fine condition having just returned from the paper conservator. Also listed a strong painted relief from 1963 by Matt Rugg who was with Derek Carruthers tutored and influenced ¬†by Victor Pasmore and included in a couple of key surveys/shows of this period. Also a fine ¬†Michael Sandle etching/aquatint from 1961 and a George Bissill “Hampshire Landscape” oil on canvas.
